Highly complex in mechanics with a contemporary aesthetic, the Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon in titanium and Aqua Blue dial simultaneously displays a kinetic spectacle and masterful symphony. Challenging the technical boundaries, the gongs and hammers are boldly placed on the dial side within a delicate 40 mm case. The mesmerizing recital is set against a “Grand feu” enamel dial in a brand-new colour on a base with a hammered texture.
Highlight
Adding to the inherent complexity of the minute repeater movement, the hammers and gongs had to be redesigned to allow the acoustics to flow clearly in an atypical, rectangular format. A rare and challenging feat in creating form-fitting movements.
Complications
The minute repeater chimes the time with the slide of a button through an elaborate system of miniature hammers and gongs; carefully calibrated to produce a sound that is acoustically enchanting.
Movement
A complex interplay of cogs and gongs, the HMC 904 is a manual-winding movement composed of more than 400 parts. It integrates two of the most intricate complications in watchmaking – the minute repeater and tourbillon.
